Take empanadas out of the freezer.

Pre-heat your oven to 450F.

Once oven is up to temp, place frozen empanadas on lined baking sheet.

Whisk an egg with a spoonful of milk, then lightly brush each empanada with the wash.

Sprinkle with flaky salt to do it the rye way.

Bake for about 12 -15 minutes until golden.
